It took me almost a month to get this shot. I went to this place first I saw a few big buffalo in the area, but I didn't see my shot yet. I had picture in mind already I just needed to find that perfect moment. I went to this exact place almost twice a day to see the light changing and hoping to witness a great moment, but no luck. One day before I went to sleep I watched theweather channel and it said "early morning snow shower". I knew this place would be wonderful with a few huge buffalo if I'm lucky, so set my alarm for 4am. Drove down there and it was snowing; I was just so excited to see the picture in my mind in real life. In the distance I saw a few buffalo and here he is. I took a few photos from my car, but I just didn't feel it. I was thinking if i can get a lower angle I can see that cold and mean emotion on the buffalo face. I got under my jeep incase the buffalo charged at me he will hit the car first.

my photography style was inspiring by the color of the nature and the dimensional of life, when I go out there and saw beautiful scene took me few years to learn and deliver that nature in to frame the way eyes see it, it such a humbling experience when you witness that nature and be able to capture that and share it to the world.

i don't believe what i saw, i been searching for this kind amazing moment for long time, i know when early spring the sun will be rising up in this exact spot, that year we had a lot wild fires in the areas so that make sky so fogy and the sun so visible because of that, i been camping in this place for a couple days hopping the moment will happen, i try deferent technic to draw elk attention to stand up in this exact spot, finally youtube, play a couple elk sounds and here he is, amazing, few different frames blend together with 500mm to get super big sun effect, thank for looking fell free to share...------------------

BUFFALO MOON
i been out all day after the lunar eclipse i know the moon still will be look amazing, went hike from sunrise to moon rise saw few cool stuff, this place was my target to see the moon rising up, when it does just wow herd buffalo just walking in the dark,some of you might wondering how do I get that shot? Huge moon in focus and the buffalo in normal size, the trick is in image stacking, I use 2 different lenses in this shot 200mm and 800mm for the moon,really dark so i get to bump up my iso to 1600 to get sharper image, get chase by this guy a couple times get jump on top my car go back down i cant stop pushing the shutter, so serene night just amazing feeling, feel free to share and check my other work at:
